Still Life with Fruit from Golden Kite is done!! I started it almost 2 years ago, but of course I worked on other projects during that time. It's stitched on 18 count aida, 42 pages, full crosses. Can't wait to get it framed, I just got a great framing coupon from Michaels:)
What an incredible accomplishment! It looks wonderful. I can't imagine doing a Golden Kite pattern, although now that I have just looked through many of your old posts and seen how many you have finished, it lets me know that they are at least do-able! Amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing! I am sure you are thrilled with the result and it will look fabulous once framed!

What an absolutely amazing job. Well done and it looks so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is sure beautiful...wow....congratulations on your finish.....
ReplyDeleteMay I make a suggestion - you really need to have your Followers either in your side bar toward the top or at the top of your blog so people can find this when they go to your blog....I just about didn't put me as a follower because it wasn't up toward the top and it was clear down to the bottom of your blog.
This is just a suggestion...okay....
Happy Stitching

ReplyDeleteWhat next?
Just amazing. Thanks for sharing over the months.
ReplyDeleteWow! It looks so real and 3d. I guess embroidery has that effect. Hope the frame will be of the same high standard as the work you have put in.
