EXTREME Happy Dance!!!! Portrait of the Daughter

Yay! I can't believe she's done!! I've been working on her on and off for years! Her name in real life was Rosalba Peale and she was the daughter of an American painter, well-known for this paintings of American Presidents in the 19th century.
The stats : Portrait of the Daughter, Pattern from Golden Kite, 16x16 on 18 count, two hundred colors, many blended. She's already shipped off for framing, I'll post a new pic when she comes home.

  15. STUNNING!!!! This has got to be the happiest dance of all time! There is such a fluidity in the color transition, must be the blending, that it does not even look like cross stitch. Congratulations.

  22. She is amazing! I have been back to look at her over and over. I would never guess she was cross stitch, unless I saw her IRL. Congrats to you, and I think I may have to get a GK pattern soon. I do HAED's, I am sure I can do these too. :)
