Esme finished!

Two wonderful finishes in one month! I love it, I haven't had any finishes so far this year. This is Esme, tent stitched on 25 count Lugana. She is designed by the Russian company Este. They have really wonderful designs:)

First HEAVEN AND EARTH DESIGNS finish!!!

NThis is Autumn Harmony by Maxine Gadd. It is stitched on 25 count Lugana, tent stitch. I started her in October of 2015, so she took about 10 months on and off. Love her 💕

Next I am back to working on Esme. Only a few pages left!

Hi blogland!

Looonng time no post! I kinda lost my blogging mojo for a while there and was posting mostly on Facebook. But I'm back and here's my first update. I finished Sabrina from Mirabilia and framed her to match Roses of Provence. They go together so well:)

They are both stitched on Sandcastle Jobelan and framed in off-the -shelf frames from Michaels.

I'm happy to be working on her again, she had become a ufo for a while. The sandcastle jobelan that she's stitched on was very difficult to see. I've started using magnifier glasses, which has made the process so much easier! There's really not too much more to stitch on her. 

Update on Esme

She's coming along. I've mostly been working on the background. She's really beautiful in person. 

Esme update and 2 new Mirabilias!

I'm still working on the beautiful Esme, the background is really tough, I made the mistake of stitching it on a fabric that's almost the same color as the background. Oh well, too late to change it now. 

I was feeling a need for a new start and had some gorgeous new Polstitches fabrics to play with. 

So I decided to start Moon Maiden on opal Serenade. Gorgeous colors! It's always a nice break to work on a Mirabilia, they're so nice and easy.

And finally, for good measure, I also started an old favorite Fairy Flora. She's on opal Blue Breeze. 

Dolce Far Niente, 40 pages done!!

I finished stitching two more pages. The one rounding out her hip was fine, but the one in the upper left corner(branches and leaves) was a confetti nightmare. It took longer than any other page so far. I'm aiming to hit 50 pages soon, maybe sometime this summer. That will be the halfway point. 

Esme- new project from Este

I started this project on April 12. Este is fast becoming one of my favorite cross stitch companies. They do superb conversions from paintings. This will be my 3rd large project from them. If you are interested, have a look around their online store! http://fondu4ok.com/en

*Almost* 38 page a done

I got bogged down in the leaves and flowers in the top left of the picture. So I decided to take a break and work on a different part for a while. So I'm slowly but surely closing in on the halfway point, which is 50 pages (give or take). 😃

I have been very focused on her lately. The pages seem to be flying by :)

Dolce Far Niente

28 pages done on my Dolce Far Niente designed by Golden Kite. That means I'm officially 1/4 done!! She is tent stitched on 25 count fabric. 

Update on Dolce and small new start

Still working on Dolce Far Niente and making good progress. 

I started a small piece from Este, which I call Little Lady. It's actually a detail of a larger picture. She is being tent stitched on 25 count. The second picture is what she will look like finished.

Finished Cat and Mouse for my daughter. She loves it and can't wait to go get it framed. It took about 4 months, while working on other things also. It's tent stitched on 25 count lugana.

Here is an update on my Cat and Mouse. I'm hoping to finish before the end of the year. 

Back to Sabrina

Now that Kiss is finished, I'm trying to finish Sabrina. I think she will be a lovely companion to Roses of Provence above my staircase. I will use the same frame and they can face each other.

I just finished this lovely piece last night, hence the wrinkles and unwashed appearance :)

The beadwork is absolutely amazing on  one. I stitched it on a 28 count ivory even weave. 

Cat and Mouse from Este

I don't think I've posted this yet. It's a pattern from the Russian company, Este. It's converted from a painting. My friend bought me a copy of the pattern, and the second photo is her completed stitching. It's so very realistic! 

Dolce Far Niente update

I have finished 18 pages of this pattern. It's starting to really come to life!

The Kiss from Mirabilia

This is one of my many ongoing wips that's I'd like to finish by the end if this year. It's really a beautiful design, with stunning beadwork.
